DMCA Policy

Roofing Mate respects the intellectual property rights of others. We are committed to complying with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws. Our website provides informative content about roofing companies, services, and materials across various states, including Alabama, California, and Florida.

We expect all users of roofingmate.com to respect the copyrights of others. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing alleged copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on roofingmate.com infringes upon your copyright, you may send us a formal DMCA Takedown Notice. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed. Please provide specific details, such as the title of the work, and a URL or other reference if available.
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. You must provide its location on our site (e.g., the URL of the infringing page on roofingmate.com).
  • Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please send your complete DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent:

Email: dmca@roofingmate.com

Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will investigate the claim. We may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also notify the user who posted the content about the claim.

Counter-Notification Process

If your content has been removed due to a copyright infringement notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or that you have the right to use the material, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled (the URL on roofingmate.com).
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which roofingmate.com may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Please send counter-notifications to the same Designated Copyright Agent email address provided above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party. Unless the copyright owner files a court action seeking a court order against the content provider, the removed material may be replaced or access restored within 10 to 14 business days after receipt of the counter-notification.

Repeat Infringer Policy

Roofing Mate maintains a policy of terminating user accounts of repeat infringers. Users found to have repeatedly uploaded or posted infringing material will have their access to our services restricted or terminated. We will review each incident and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.

This policy helps us ensure that our platform remains a trusted source for roofing information and respects intellectual property rights.
